App added to plant food recipe resource

Kelsi Boocock says the aim of the app is to create simple delicious food for a healthy balanced life.

Red Beach plant-based food advocate and author Kelsi Boocock has launched a new app based on her book, Healthy Kelsi, that was launched last year (Hibiscus Matters, October 11, 2021).

The Healthy Kelsi app features more than 350 recipes, a meal planner, a favourites option, an automatic shopping list and new articles and recipes are added every week.

The recipes can also be sorted according to whether they are gluten free, nut free, oil free or can be made in under 25 minutes, and include comfort food, salads, pastas, smoothies and desserts.

Kelsi says the app is all about encouraging people to eat to feel their best without compromising on taste or flavour, with articles on global food, health, beauty and nutrition.

“I never in a million years thought I could do something like this and I’m honestly just so proud of what I’ve created over the last year,” she said.

The app costs $3.99 a month, or $44.99 a year, and there is a seven-day free trial and introductory offers available via Apple Store and Google Play.
