The Women’s Centre Rodney its accepting donations for its annual Winter Warmer Appeal until Friday, May 23.
The centre is looking for pyjamas, socks, hats, slippers, thermal clothing, hot water bottles and wheat bags, which are either new or in excellent condition.
There are two drop-off points – the Women’s Centre at 10 Morpeth Street, Warkworth, between 9.30am and 2.30pm on weekdays, or at Harcourts Warkworth at 21 Queen Street.
As well as donating items, people can also register their own family or another that they know of who could benefit from receiving a Winter Warmer pack – all information is confidential.
The packs will be distributed by the Women’s Centre in the week beginning May 26.
