Mahurangi residents have again been generous in their support of the Pink Ribbon appeal to support Kiwi women affected by breast cancer.

Pink ribbon volunteers, coordinated by Shona Pickup, raised just over $5000 in donations last month.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer for New Zealand women, with around 1030 women in the greater Auckland region diagnosed with it annually.
