Omaha Beach Golf Club will host a charity Ambrose tournament next month to raise funds for Heart Place Hospital, a Mangawhai-based organisation supporting frontline carers.
The tournament will be held on Thursday, September 24, from 11am, with all proceeds going towards the charity, which works with more than 60 contracted service providers and practitioners.
Heart Place Hospital chief executive Jacqui O’Connor said the funds raised would help the charity continue providing accessible wellbeing support, education and restorative care for carers.
Entry is $400 per team of three players, with a maximum handicap of 24 for men and 36 for women.
More than $10,000 worth of prizes will be up for grabs, including two return business class tickets to Hawaii. Pre-paid entries are essential and can be made at Charity-Golf-Day.
