A meeting will be held in Warkworth this Wednesday May 1 to discuss the pros and cons of establishing a local community garden.

The meeting is being convened by the Warkworth Library Garden Club and will be held in the old council office, next to the library, starting at 6.30pm.

Organisers are inviting anyone interested to attend.

They hope people will bring along their ideas and suggestions, and discussion will also cover where the group might find an appropriate site, where there is a reliable water supply.
