Knitting for newborns

A Warkworth resident is calling for donations of wool so she can continue to make knitwear for prematurely born babies at Middlemore Hospital.

Sandra Haycock has knitted over 25 baby jerseys and hats while watching the Olympics. She is looking for donations of double-knit wool or baby wool.

Donations can be dropped in at Warkworth Vets, 18 Neville Street.
