Kaipara and Northland Lions clubs have collectively donated 17,108 to North Haven Hospice, a welcome gift that will help the service buy essential equipment.
Waipu Lions Sue Foster and Juanita McGoldrick coordinated the fundraising campaign, which involved clubs from Mangawhai, Dargaville, Paparoa, Marsden and Whangarei Mid Western, along with the assistance of the Lions Clubs Lloyd Morgan Trust.

The money will enable hospice to install hoist tracks in two of the centre’s in-patient bedrooms, as well as the purchase of a portable ultrasound, which can be used in patient’s homes.
