Night buses for Warkworth

Warkworth residents wanting to enjoy a weekend night on the town won’t have to drive this summer, as the new 999 loop bus service is running on Friday and Saturday nights from today, December 20.

The half-hourly service will run until 10pm on Fridays and 9.50pm on Saturdays, at which times the last bus will leave the Percy Street stop.

Passengers no longer require an AT HOP card to travel either, as buses now accept contactless debit card and digital wallet payments.

The loop bus is on a two-year trial, funded by the Rodney Local Board’s transport targeted rate.
