Pedestrians in Kaiwaka will find getting around town a lot easier and safer following the completion of a much-anticipated footpath. Business owners and Kaiwaka Can chair David Wright joined Kaipara District Council’s project team to test out the new walkway on August 25, which links the footbridge at the northern end of town with the one at Oneriri Road. The stormwater system near Oneriri Road is also being upgraded.
