“Cherie is a real gem in our community. She’s served on the Snells Beach Ratepayers and Residents Association, walks neighbours’ dogs, brings up our rubbish bins and, while I’ve faced health challenges, has even mown our lawns. Most notably, she cared for our widowed neighbour, who had terminal cancer for months, taking her to appointments, providing meals, walking her dog and tending to her home. She does everything with tonnes of energy and a big smile, and we feel blessed to have her in our neighbourhood.”
