Sweet Appreciation – Katie Mitchell

Congratulations to Katie Mitchell who is this week’s recipient of a gift box from Chocolate Brown. Katie was nominated by Rosie McFarlane who wrote:

“On behalf of the people who attend the community project Brain Charge, I would like to nominate Katie Mitchell to acknowledge all the work she does in running a myriad of community projects under the auspices of the Auckland library. Her empathy and care, as well as all the work and meticulous planning she puts in to creating interesting and dynamic programs for us, (hopefully delaying the onset of memory issues and dementia), are well above expectations. She takes a deep interest in the people who attend her sessions and it is a testament to her caring character and innovative sessions that we all return week after week and have done so over the past few years.”
