Congratulations to Murray Chapman who is this week’s recipient of a gift box from Chocolate Brown. Murray was nominated by Peter Henderson, who wrote:
“Although he is the public face of One Mahurangi, there is more to Murray than this. Outside One Mahurangi, Murray is a long-time member of Warkworth Toastmasters and has organised the great debate for the last 10 years. This has raised over $30,000 for Hospice. He also chairs the group of volunteers that gives us the Mahurangi Winter Festival of Lights and has been heavily involved in the Kowhai Festival for a number of years. He is a member of the Warkworth Lions Club and has a keen interest in all things going on in the town. I feel he is a worthy recipient of the Chocolate Brown Sweet Appreciation for his commitment to the community outside One Mahurangi.”
