Congratulations to Shadze of Lace owner Tracey Paton, who is this week’s recipient of a gift basket from Chocolate Brown. She was nominated by Janice Davies, who wrote:
“Tracey has lovingly clothed women in Warkworth and the surrounding areas for more than 25 years. Her garments are her own designs and are locally produced. A strong part of her work is also her generosity and connection with the community. She has donated fabric to recycling events in the area and clothing to charity shops in the past. In addition, she sometimes visits retirement villages to share her work with people who are unable to get out. And it’s not just local women – customers come to Warkworth from further afield in search of New Zealand-made clothing.”
