The offences happened in the early hours of Friday, September 2 and police arrested two teenage males the same day.

Sgt Pieter Vanderharst of Orewa Police says that since then, three more young people have been arrested and charged, including a 16-year-old girl.

The age range of the offenders is 16–27, but most are in their teens.

More than 35 windows were smashed at Whangaparaoa College, alcohol was stolen from the Hibiscus Coast Community RSA and there was also damage at Raiders clubrooms and to a bus stop and phone booth (pictured) in Stanmore Bay.

Police are seeking one more offender and ask that any information be given anonymously to Crimestoppers, or to Orewa or Whangaparaoa police.
