The Warkworth A&P Show has been hailed a success once again this year, drawing large crowds who enjoyed fine weather and a lively atmosphere.

Show secretary Karen Black said one of her personal highlights was the introduction of highland dancing, inspired by her visit to the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. She was able to connect with the Hibiscus Highland Dancers, who were eager to take part in the event.

Black said feedback from exhibitors had been overwhelmingly positive, with some already confirming plans to return next year and describing it as one of the best events of the season. Attendees also reported an enjoyable day out for families

The Show Committee expressed its thanks to exhibitors, competitors, community members and visitors, noting it was rewarding to see so many people enjoying the event.
