Bid to charge for Warkworth parking prompts board concerns

A draft review of parking in Warkworth that recommends the introduction of charges instead of time limits came under fire at a Rodney Local Board workshop on October 11. Auckland Transport (AT) presented a 31-page document looking at town centre parking, including an occupancy survey that it said proved the need for a gradual change to “demand-responsive paid parking”.
