Hundreds gathered at Warkworth’s Wharf on the Saturday of Labour Weekend to help celebrate Warkworth Volunteer Fire Brigade’s 75th anniversary.
More than a dozen vehicles from the past to the present attended the Brigade’s Jubilee Display Day, including several specialist vehicles.
Among them was an incident control vehicle, an aerial appliance that can rescue trapped victims from up to the eighth floor of a burning building, and an Emergency Lighting and Power Unit vehicle that can illuminate traffic accidents at night to facilitate investigations.
