There was good cause for celebration at the Highfield Garden Reserve Christmas party last month, when the new all-weather concrete track, funded by Auckland Council’s Walkway Fund, was opened.
The $6400 grant funded the completion of the path from the donkey enclosure to the top gate. There was a good turnout for the event which included the arrival of Father Christmas. The new path was opened by Rodney Local Board member Greg Sayers.
