The Kaipara District Council is aiming to begin construction of two footbridges in Kaiwaka in January.
The contract has been awarded to Bridge It NZ, a Tauranga-based company, however local tradespeople are needed. The KDC is looking for carpenters, landscape and civil works contractors and skilled labourers.
It expects the project will take seven weeks to complete.
