The Auckland rescue helicopter was called to Kawau Island on Easter Sunday, April 17, to help a man in his sixties who had suffered a fall onto rocks.
He was rescued by boat then transported to the Westpac 1 helicopter, where he was flown to Auckland City Hospital in a moderate condition.
