Sixteen teams took to the green for the Kittyhawk tournament.
A full green and a warm, sunny morning set the scene at Bowls Warkworth on Monday, November 24, as it hosted the Kittyhawk tournament – the club’s first visit here in several years. Sixteen teams comprising 48 players, eight from Warkworth and eight visiting Kittyhawk Bowling Club teams, vied for the Rodney Collingwood Seymour Cup. Each year, the Kittyhawks compete against bowling clubs from Thames to Waipu, running raffles at the same time, with the proceeds donated to local charities.
