The Ara Tūhono – Pūhoi to Warkworth motorway project has had an overwhelming response to its invitation to a public open day on Saturday October 29.

All tickets have been allocated to the event, which was postponed last year due to Covid. Ticketholders will be given an exclusive bus tour of the whole project alignment, south to north.

The tour will include a commentary on the engineering features of the new road and staff will be on hand to answer questions.

Although the tickets are free, a gold coin collection will be taken for the Warkworth Volunteer Fire Brigade.
