NPC preseason match pulls crowd in Warkworth

A good crowd turned up for the Auckland vs Northland contest on a clear but chilly evening. Auckland’s Kemara Hauiti-Parapara and Northland’s Marcel Renata exchanged a hongi before the game. It’s not often provincial rugby comes to town. So there was a good turnout for the NPC (National Provincial Championship) preseason match between Northland and Auckland at the Warkworth Showgrounds on July 24, with plenty of people rolling up after work for the 5pm kick-off.
