Warkworth Police are investigating a series of burglaries at the Matakana Opportunity Shop.
The two incidents took place between February 6 and 9 and various items were taken during the break-ins.
Police are asking the community to be vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour via 111. Warkworth officer-in-charge Sgt Dan McDermott says police will be increasing patrols in the area, together with the Leigh Community Patrol.
“The Opportunity Shop is in the community to benefit the community and it is disappointing that it has been targeted in such a manner,” McDermott says.
