One Mahurangi manager Murray Chapman says the Warkworth Santa Parade will be on December 5 this year and planning is underway.

Planning is also underway for the Kowhai Festival, which takes place in October.

Mr Chapman thanked those who had got behind the Mahurangi Winter Festival of Lights last month, describing it as “a really successful event”.

Around 5000 attended the Parade of Lights and 3000 turned out for the Laser Light Show despite bad weather.

Around 400 youngsters enjoyed The Glow Show.
