Hakaru dog attack “a disaster waiting to happen”

Two Hakaru neighbours are facing a long healing process after a terrifying and unprovoked attack by a pack of four dogs, who have a history of menacing the quiet rural settlement. “Everybody was fearing for their lives with these dogs,” another resident said. “The owner is well known to dog control, who usually have to have a police presence when they go to the property where the dogs live.
