Image: Kaipara District Council A new seawall and road strengthening project is set to get underway on Insley Street, as Kaipara District Council moves to protect one of Mangawhai’s key transport links from future storm damage and coastal erosion. Insley Street is one of just three routes connecting Mangawhai with neighbouring districts, carrying more than 8,000 vehicles each day on average and serving as a key link for residents, businesses and visitors.
