Police investigate sudden death in Mangawhai Heads

Police are investigating a sudden death in Mangawhai Heads after emergency services were called at 8.13am this morning.

Police said there was no suspicious circumstance involved.

Fire and Emergency said it sent one truck and was assisting police and ambulance.

The NZ Herald reported that Fire and Emergency’s incident listing recorded the call type as “hazardous substance”.

Hato Hone St John said it was notified of an incident at Mangawhai Heads at 8.17am, responding with one ambulance.
