Hibiscus Coast Highway was transformed into an outdoor restaurant for the inaugural Longest Dinner on the evening of Saturday, March 9.
A row of pristine white tables and chairs were set up from the corner of the highway and Moana Ave to the roundabout at Marine View.
The event was a sellout, with a total of 440 diners enjoying three courses from 10 local restaurants.
Sharing one long table outdoors created a very sociable atmosphere and local bands provided live music.
The Longest Dinner was organised by business association Destination Orewa to showcase Orewa’s dining options and alfresco/beach culture.
