Two adjoining industrial properties at 18 and 20 Curley Ave, Silverdale were recently put on the market, with real estate agents expecting interest to be high.
Should the two be combined, the land area of 6655sqm would make this the largest industrial site on the retail/commercial side of Silverdale.
Barfoot & Thompson Commercial real estate agent Barry Masefield, who is marketing the property with Graeme Perigo, believes the properties will appeal to both investors and developers. He says 18 Curley Ave, which was originally three warehouses, was built as a sewing machine factory in the 1970s. The next door property, 20 Curley Ave, is a 1973sqm warehouse on a 4185sqm site – currently in three freehold unit titles. This property will be sold with the existing tenant, Modtec Ltd, in place.
The properties have Town Centre zoning under the proposed Auckland Unitary Plan. The eventual extension of Curley Ave will also have an impact on the future of the site. The properties are being sold by tender, closing July 29, 4pm at Barfoot & Thompson Commercial in Whangaparaoa.
