Orewa Primary’s Family Fun Day is this weekend, on Saturday, March 21, 10am-1pm at the school in Maire Road, Orewa.
Food options include Cinta Delights, Bakers Daughter and Spin Spuds.
A second-hand toy stall encourages recycling as toys find a new home, and games include archery and shooting, hands-on-creatures and the Dunk machine.
The cake competition should be tempting, and there is also a silent auction.
The Family Fun Day is a major fundraiser for the school – last year the $10,000 raised contributed towards the senior playground.
This year the money will go towards the junior playground and outdoor upgrades.
Update: Orewa Primary Fun Day cancelled
Orewa Primary School's fun day, which was to take place on Saturday, March 21, has been cancelled due to Covid-19.
The Silent Auction is set up in the school reception and will be continuing until the end of term.
Some events that were going to be held at the Fun Day for which the school has received donations, will be organised within school time for the students before the end of term.
