Developer of Millwater and Milldale, Fulton Hogan, has been revealed as the purchaser of Longburn Farm, at 522 Wainui Road.
Land Information NZ data shows that Fulton Hogan Land Development has a caveat against the title of the property, based on an Agreement for Sale and Purchase dated March 7, 2022.
The sale price is currently confidential.
The 191ha property is primarily zoned rural production, but 62ha has Future Urban zoning. There is potential for some of the rural zoned land to be re-zoned via a plan change.
It is understoodthat the land will be developed into housing as part of adjacent Milldale.
Settlement of the sale is expected to take place on May 5 and currently Fulton Hogan does not wish to comment.
