If you have a few million to invest, a prime site earmarked for development is up for sale near Waiwera.
The 64ha block at 913 Hibiscus Coast Highway includes plans for a subdivision of up to 55 lifestyle blocks.
The site is currently grazed and is on a headland, opposite the Waiwera Hill Scenic Reserve, and just over the hill from Waiwera thermal pools.
It is for sale by tender through Bayleys Real Estate, with tenders closing on December 13.
Salesperson John Greenwood says initial plans had been drawn up for three entry points off the arterial route, and a network of roads within the enclave.
No resource consent has been applied for.
