Seawall works to begin in May

This month is expected to see the detailed design of the Ōrewa Beach seawall completed and made public. The wall, to be built from Kohu Street to Marine View, finally got resource consent in 2020 after a protracted process in the Environment Court.  The project is budgeted to cost $18.9m.
