In an odd turn of events, the Warkworth Volunteer Fire Service was called to tackle a flood rather than a fire at the Warkworth Police station on February 7.

Relieving officer-in-charge Sergeant Mark Stallworthy says the flood occurred after a prisoner damaged the sprinkler system in the station cellblock.
