Anyone who’s feeling a bit squeamish or faints at the thought of blood should probably avoid Awanui Labs in Warkworth until after the holidays. A closer look at their colourful Christmas tree in the Alnwick Street waiting room reveals that the many unusual glass ornaments hanging off it are actually assorted tubes and vials used by staff for collecting diverse bodily fluid samples.
