There’s a chance for farmers to wise up on what’s happening in the world of worms and parasites this week, when a specialist workshop is held in Kaiwaka. Led by Bay of Islands vet Garth Riddle, the Wormwise workshop will feature the latest information and research on parasite control and look at worm biology, drenches and drench resistance.
Organiser Beef + Lamb NZ says by looking at an integrated pest management system, outlining the play-off between parasite control and drench resistance, participants will be able to make informed choices for their individual farming business systems.
