Two farming industry groups are looking for Northland farmers to take part in a pasture management research survey. Beef + Lamb NZ and DairyNZ want to talk to livestock farmers to find out what support they need to continue to farm successfully in a changing and variable climate.
“We are looking for 25 to 35 livestock farmers who would be willing to tell us about their experiences with forages and pasture management,” a spokesperson says.
“We want to know about their experiences and suggestions for how Northland farmers can be supported to produce high quality forage for livestock.”
Anyone interested in taking part should contact Kim Robinson on 027 433 9465 or kim.robinson@agfirst.co.nz, or James Parsons on 021 2063 208 or james.parsons@agfirst.co.nz.
