The future of the Warkworth Rodeo could hang on the results of a case heard in the Wellington High Court on July 11 and 12.
The New Zealand Animal Law Association and SAFE brought the case against the Agriculture Minister and the National Animal Welfare Advisory Committee.
They claim that rodeo activities violate the Animal Welfare Act 1999. A decision is expected to be released within three months.
