Free barbecue at Kaipara Flats

Farmers, growers, rural workers and their families can enjoy a free community barbecue this Wednesday, October 1 at Kaipara Flats Rugby Club.

The event is being organised by the Northland Collaboration Group, which includes Rural Women NZ, Dairy Women’s Network, NZ Young Farmers, Beef + Lamb NZ, Federated Farmers and On Farm Support.

Organisers say the aim is to get people off the farm for a break and a chance to socialise with their community.
