Auto Super Shoppe Silverdale

Kellie Tremayne

If there’s one thing Kellie Tremayne of Auto Super Shoppe Silverdale knows, it’s the automotive business. After all, she was CEO of the company for five years and has more than 20 years of industry experience.

Deciding to trade the corporate life for a better work-life balance, she opted for a hands-on role.

“I always said that if I was going to buy a workshop it could only be an Auto Super Shoppe. I always talked up the benefits of being part of the network, so when this one came up for sale it was a no brainer.”

Kellie strongly believes in the brand and its standards.

“To be an Auto Super Shoppe, you have to be of a certain standard; including how good your technicians are, your behind-the-scenes processes, the standard of your reception, and trained staff. It has to have proven systems and technicians that are New Zealand qualified and accredited.”

Importantly, although workshops are individually owned, standards are monitored annually.

“We also have training for owners, managers, and technicians, with better buying power that we can pass on to customers, and nationwide promotions and competitions.”

Silverdale’s strength lies in the team’s experience, Kellie says.

“You know when you come to us that you have qualified, experienced mechanics. Our team has been here for many years. We all live locally and know our community. We have lifelong customers, and that’s so important to us.”

Silverdale is also an authorised Hyundai and Isuzu service centre, unusual outside dealerships, she says.

“It’s a testament to the level of skills of our team.”
