Tradespeople and service-based businesses from across the Mahurangi region are being encouraged to connect at a networking event later this month.
One Mahurangi (OM) is hosting a Trades & Services Networking get-together at the Bridgehouse back bar in Warkworth on Wednesday May 27, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
OM says the event is the first of its kind for some time and it’s hoped it will bring together a wide range of local businesses from across the sector.
Builders, plumbers, electricians, landscapers, mechanics, contractors, suppliers and professional service providers are all invited, regardless of whether or not they are members of One Mahurangi.
The evening is intended as an informal opportunity for local businesses to meet one another, discuss common challenges and explore what support or future initiatives could benefit the sector.
A brief update from One Mahurangi will be followed by an open discussion covering topics such as the possibility of regular networking meetings, what information or events businesses would find valuable, and how the organisation can better support trades and service operators in the area.
“This is not a formal meeting,” organisers said. “It is a chance to connect, share ideas and help shape what comes next.”
The event is being supported by Burt Plumbing and Dominator Doors Rodney.
