Sing Up Rodney

Sing Up Rodney! is a community music therapy group for people living with a neurological condition and partners/carers. Volunteer inquiries are also welcome.

Sing Up Rodney is a community music therapy group in Silverdale and Warkworth, for adults with a neurological condition (affecting voice, communication and/or memory). Partners/carers are encouraged to participate, and volunteer inquiries welcome.

Sing Up Rodney is modelled on the CeleBRation Choir at the University of Auckland’s Centre for Brain Research. New Zealand and international research show the benefits of singing for positive wellbeing, social connectedness, and aspects of voice, speech and language.

Both Sing Up Rodney and the CeleBRation Choir are currently led by music therapist Alison (Ali) Talmage. The Sing Up sessions cost $10.

Sing Up Rodney is at the Warkworth Methodist Church Hall or at 2 HIbiscus Coast Highway, Hibiscus Coast.
