After 30 years of writing poems and reading stories to children during her career as a primary school teacher, Point Wells resident Marilyn Stacey has released her debut picture book, Imogen Plays in the Clouds.
The story follows a young girl who loves playing among the clouds and going on adventures. Marilyn said the idea for the book came to her during a plane’s descent.
Illustrated by Sharon Ferguson, the book is aimed at children aged three to eight, and encourages imagination and creative thinking.
