Artists and craftspeople across a range of disciplines held at an open day at the Kowhai Arts & Craft Centre, at the Warkworth Showgrounds, this month.
Despite wet and wintry weather, the annual event was well attended. Demonstrations of pottery, painting, flax weaving, spinning, printing and leatherwork were among the many skills on show.
The organisers hope the day will encourage and inspire other members of the community to join the society, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.
