A combined church service will be held at Mahurangi College on Sunday October 9, at 10am, as part of the Kowhai Festival.
The service will feature guest speaker Colin Chitty, pastor at Causeway Church in Mangawhai.
Colin grew up in Mangawhai. He had his leg amputated after a motorcycle accident when he was 13 and says he came to terms with his disability through the church. He has been a dairy farm in Mangawhai for the past 32 years and speaks around the country.
He became senior pastor at Causeway Church, along with his wife Anne, in 2005.
