Budding poets and fans of verse should head south to Waiwera next month for Phantom Billstickers’ Poetry at the Pub.

The National Poetry Day celebration features poetry readings and associated fun, with prizes, drinks and food available.

Poetry at the Pub takes place at the Sugarloaf Beach Bar at 38 Waiwera Road on Thursday, August 14, at 7.15pm.

Anyone who would like to present a poem, whether their own or anybody else’s, should contact Diane Newcombe on 021 483 849 or dianenewcombe@hotmail.com.
