Organisers of the Warkworth Santa Parade have confirmed the parade will go ahead, despite major Watercare works in the town.
They say the route will be abridged and floats will also need to be slightly smaller.
“The floats will complete two laps of the route and because we can’t access Wharf Street, vehicles will be limited to six wheelers or a maximum of 10 metres in length.
The number of floats will also be limited so will be taken on a first-in first-served basis. As usual, there will be prizes in four categories – Youth, Business, People’s Choice and Community.
