Rodney Local Board publicly thanked and expressed its gratitude for the “incredible contribution” that Tim Armitage has made to the ecology of Mahurangi area at its monthly meeting on May 21.
Members acknowledged that Armitage was the chair and driving force behind Restore Rodney East, Forest & Bird Warkworth and the Pest Free Warkworth, Sandspit and Mahurangi East groups.
Members heard that he had donated more than 400 volunteer hours this year alone on mulching, weeding, planting and trapping in the Warkworth area and local parks.
