Work is underway on a new motorhome dump station at 15 Hamatana Road in Snells Beach, which is expected to be finished next month. Once this facility is operational, the dump station at Kowhai Park will close.

Watercare says this will help reduce traffic in the area while construction of the growth-servicing pipeline gets underway, with work expected to continue through to early next year.

During the closure, the nearest alternative facilities will be at 107 Centennial Park Road in Wellsford and the new site at 15 Hamatana Road once completed.
